The student’s overall mark for the ILP will be based on the following evaluations:
There is no mark specifically for attendance at compulsory lectures. If a student does not attend a session they can apply for special consideration, and if accepted, they will be required to undertake a make-up assignment. No mark will be given for this, but if the make-up assignment is not submitted or is not done satisfactorily, or special consideration is not given for non-attendance, the student will incur a penalty (deduction of marks of 10% for each session missed).
A student must gain a minimum combined score of at least 50% in order to complete the ILP successfully.
The final report is a core component, and students much achieve a pass (50%) for this component to pass the ILP year, regardless of the combined score from other assessments.
