Orientation for commencing medical students are sent to students via email.
All incoming medical students automatically become members of the University of New South Wales Medical Society (MEDSOC), which is a fully student-organised body. The Society aims to facilitate interaction between students and the Faculty and provides a forum for discussion of student issues and social contact.
